It's been a while, but it still feels like yesterday when I attended the Developer Days celebration. The five-week-long BootCamp cum Hackathon ended with a sway. Creating great buzz and leaving trails of impactful competitive learning.

Bringing on the spotlight to Developer Days 2021. It was a flying start with the buzziest opening ceremony and walking up to the closing ceremony. Developer Days consisted of different tracks, games, mini-events, projects, and excitement, with the final celebration and swag giveaways.

Before we walk through the five weeks of Developer Days, an overview is right here for those who weren't part of it.

Overview Developer Days

Developer Days was a month-long celebration of the biggest Dev Festival. It was one of its kind, with a combo of Bootcamp and Hackathon. The Bootcamp was initiated right after the opening ceremony. The Bootcamp targeted three significant tracks: Web Development, UI/UX and Android Development.

Students wishing to kick start with development and others who were onto polishing and competing joined this month-long event schedule. Week breaks were pumped up with mini-events and challenges. Nevertheless, the participants had to hack and project their learnings during the last week. The organizers and mentors checked and remarked on submitted projects selecting the best out of thousands. Finally, during the Closing Ceremony, the week-long celebration concluded with shoutouts to the winners and to the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and all the people behind the execution of the biggest Dev Festival.

Opening Ceremony

The heart of Developer Days, the Opening Ceremony was live-streamed on Youtube marking the beginning of the month-long celebration. The founder of the revolutionary learning platform, Quincy Larson, made this ceremony remarkable and auspicious with his gracious presence. Super Excited audience with great spark spammed the chat box out of excitement. Hackers got a chance to interact with their favourite teacher at the live stream. Thus the celebration of developers and the dev festival started with great pomp and zeal from the organizers and the participant's side.

Tracks

The five weeks were divided and explicitly scheduled for the three primary tracks:

Web Development, UI/UX and Android Development.

It started with introductory sessions initially so that the newbies get an idea and eventually a roadmap to a specific development track they might follow. The intermediates could quickly brush up on the basics to prepare for upcoming sessions and challenges. At the same time, the advanced could draw insights from the mentors' experience and knowledge.

The follow-up weeks were more on the intermediate level taking hackers towards the core of development, teaching them the powerful technologies with hands-on practices. Preparing the hackers to put their knowledge into projects and creations from the assets gained.

The final weeks were the concluding weeks focused on the execution of the learnt technologies and skills. Mentors and speakers emphasized project building and worked on real-life projects. Hackers were pushed to bring their knowledge to implement and create projects to come up with flying colors in the Bootcamp cum Hackathon.

Closing Ceremony

The five-week-long celebration concluded with the Closing Ceremony featuring Khushboo Verma, a significant influencer and creative developer. Winners were announced, and prizes were disclosed for the top hackers. Also, the people working behind the successful execution of Developer Days were brought on screen, and their sincere efforts were acknowledged and appreciated. This way culminated the month-long celebration with pride and eventful commemoration.

The arrival of the swags was awaited, while the fun relaxation was planned for the after-party of the organizing team. Tits and bits with calm discussions and fun moments created memories to be cherished for life.

See you all!!
